Just surfing the web tonight and looking at some task chairs. You might have heard of some, like Hermann Miller’s Aeron. It was kind of a big deal.

There’s a place not too far from where I live that deals in refurbished office furniture.

I digress.

Google let loose a new update that’s supposed to make changes to the way that its search engine can display shit. If memory serves me correctly, the search geniuses looked at the types of things that human beings would search for. Queries are typically structured in a limited number of formats, and a machine ought to make sense of what a question is demanding.

Anyways, they’re plowing ahead with moves towards a smarter web. The Semantic Web. (Go Google this up, and let me know what you think).

I’m not sure how to take this news. Still researching, to be sure. However, a smarter web is a better web.
